Loot and how council works.

New members who have just been on for a few raids wont be prioritized as much as regular members. Prove yourself and you will get gear.

What we are looking at is who gets the best upgrade for the progress of the raid. Some loot is earmarked for progression. Our desire is to see progression - so, if say the healers were having trouble then they would have a priority for drops. The same applies for the DPS and tanks. Mainly we look at the people who roll on an items ilvl in the relevant slot - if it's a clear upgrade for them they will likely get it. Keep in mind that this isn't our only citeria. We also check the stat weighting of the gear in question for your class and spec, so I'll include a list here of the stat priorites that we'll base these decisions on.

I'd like to point out that with the 7.1 changes, Frost DK has changed considerably.
Crit and Haste to 25%, rest is Versatility = Mastery

Guess what? That's right.

NEW STAT PRIO BOYS!

Frost Death Knight:
1. Strength
2. Haste (until 20%)
3. Crit (until 25%)
4. Versatility
5. Crit
6. Haste (until 30%)
7. Mastery
8. Haste

Very convoluted, but what this means essentially is that Versatility gear is currently the go-to stat for Frost DK, with Crit and Haste being a nice bonus. Mastery, on the other hand, is not an attractive secondary stat.

For Blood DK:
1. Haste
2. Versatility
3. Mastery
4. Crit

As you can see, for ol' Zunash, Versatility gear has become the go-to gear for both her specs (Frost and Blood), with Haste being a secondary priority. Crit and Mastery are both on the lower ends.
